Nervous System Regulation
We often think of stress as something that happens in the mind, but your nervous system plays a much bigger role than most people realize. Your body constantly scans for cues of danger or safety, determining how you feel, think, and respond.
In this work, we explore body-based tools to help you shift out of survival responses—fight, flight, freeze, or shut down—and move into states where you feel more grounded, connected, and clear. This process isn’t about forcing calm; it’s about gently retraining your nervous system to recognize safety, respond differently to stress, and give you more intentional choice in how you move through the world.
Parts Work (IFS Informed)
We all carry different “parts” inside us — internal roles shaped by our histories, experiences, and relationships. You may already recognize some of yours: the people pleaser, the protector, the inner critic, the fearful child, the perfectionist. These parts aren’t flaws; they developed to keep you safe.
In parts work, we become curious about these internal patterns — how they formed, what they’re trying to protect, and what they need from you today. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, we work toward integration, where your Self (the grounded, centered part of you) leads with clarity and compassion.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy developed to help people heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Sometimes the mind can move forward, but the nervous system still reacts as if the past is happening now. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those memories so they lose their emotional intensity and stop shaping your identity, beliefs, or behaviors.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or sound) to support the brain’s natural healing processes. This 8-phase model allows you to safely access, process, and release memories and experiences that feel “stuck” in the nervous system.
EMDR Collaboration (Professional Referral)
You don’t need to leave your current therapist to access specialized trauma treatment. I offer a collaborative approach to EMDR for clients who are already working with another therapist and would benefit from focused trauma reprocessing.
In this model, your primary therapist remains your ongoing support. We work together to address specific memories, patterns, or trauma blocks that are preventing deeper progress in your long-term work. I provide short-term EMDR treatment designed to reduce the emotional intensity of these experiences, and your therapist continues guiding your broader goals.
If you’re a therapist interested in referring a client, you can reach out to discuss treatment fit, goals, and coordination.
